In a time, long long ago.
In a time, long long ago. There was an artist that disappeared from his blog and now he has returned to show that he was and is still alive. Sorry about the lack of updates but I'll try to keep you guys posted with the occasional WIPs and artwork.

Another Dragon? sure, why not.
This was done for the Dracopedia Winter Dragon Challenge where we had to do our own depiction of a winter dragon. I envisioned it being more adapt for a cold climate and environment. I took designs cues from reindeers, snow owls, artic foxes, alligators and mountain goats. I hope you guys enjoy. Hopefully it'll look okay to me when I have a fresh set of eyes. From what I can tell, I will most likely spend a bit more time on this guy and clean it up. But I need sleep so goodnight folks.

It's A Dragon
Yeah, Yeah.... It's been a while and I apologize for not updating sooner. I am still alive but have been busy with work, freelance and prepping my course that I will be teaching this coming January. Did I forget to mention that I'll be teaching perspective starting January? Anyways, here is a quick update before I head off to bed. Decided to go back to my roots with drawing something fun with nothing more than a good old pen. Its a Lava/Volcano dragon. This was meant purely as an instinctive exercise where I just let my pen and hand to the drawing while I just allowed my mind to visually build the creature as the pen and hand did its thing.

Blade Runner Sketchbook
Just felt that I had to absolutely share this with you all. This is one of those extremely rare art books that you normally only get to see if you know someone who owns it or you own it yourself. Other than that, this book is nearly impossible to obtain unless you pay big bucks for it.

Currently I'm working on a matte painting that is suppose to be representing Detroit's past, present and future. Its still a massive WIP but I figured I would share some new stuff with you guys to let you know I'm still alive.

Painting days
I am going to try doing at least one painting every couple of days and post it up during this break from school to keep me going. On another note, for the coming semester, I plan to design characters for a "King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table" done Dynasty Warriors style or at least for its engine for Senior Studio. So the paintings that I will be doing will revolve around medieval armors, weapons and themes with design twist to the traditional armors scene. Here is the first one which is a portrait of a helmet based on Danish Viking helmets with a bit of an "elf" design twist. I guess you could even call it a bit celt inspired.
