Just taking a breather from homework. So here is a quick 15 minute or so sketch that i did for fun. School, life... ehh.... nothing new.. just busy like usual. Thanks for stopping by.

Chinese Zodiac assignment

These were done for my Environments and characters class. The assignment was to design 2 characters based on an assigned animal from the chinese zodiac. I was assigned to the snake which is said to be elegant, cold, a loner, prideful, wise, deep thinker and at times a little hot headed. So i figured, what fits that description better than someone of royal lineage. No one really knows how their life is and I imagine that they cant really trust anyone in their lives. Especially since its so political. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy these. The last one is still a WIP and I mean a WIP.

surprise!!!

SURPRISE!!!!! A SECOND UPDATE IN LESS THAN A WEEK!!!! this is a matte painting i did for my matte painting class. Im happy with how it came out considering this was my second actual attempt at matte painting. anyways, just thought I would show you guys that I actually have finished work. (now~ lol) have a good one

only 2 more weeks

So there are only 2 more weeks till the end of the semester. Its been a great and busy semester and i feel like i have learned a tremendous amount this year. With a great fall semester, it makes me even more excited for the following winter semester. Well, thats it for now and i hope you enjoy this quick sketch i did for fun to relax. CANT WAIT FOR WINTER BREAK!!!! I HAVE LOTS IN MIND OF WHAT IM GOING TO BE DOING!!!

something a little different

So the semester is coming to a close and I decided to take some time out of my schedule and sketch for fun. Lately i've been having a hard time figuring which way is the most comfortable and natural way for me to render. So recently i decided to try out this method i see a lot where you do a line drawing and then you paint under the lines and a little bit over the line work where ever you want to draw the focus of your viewer. So here is a little something something i did after i finished retouching some photos for a job. hope you enjoy and i hope that this leads me somewhere i'll feel comfortable and natural doing. (and the drawing is BLAH...also it is just another one of those drawings that i just allowed my hand to do without thinking)
