Sketch Art

So lately I've been doing Sketch Art samples to try and break into the sketch art business. For those of you who don't know what sketch art is. It's basically the pre-promo art comps for film and television that is normally done in 2hrs (tops) but mostly under an hour. So here's what I've done.

quick update

Just a quick update. Im still out in LA and having a great time. I love the weather and I have been meeting a lot of new and really cool people. I'm currently working on a secret project for myself and when I finish, I'll be spamming you with notifications of updates with an art puke of the work. Look forward to it because I'm looking forward to it but for now, just enjoy this little diddy I through together for a buddy named Tommy Scott, who you guys should all check out at Tommyscottillustrations.com, as a mock art test. A quick nights post

So here is a quick little sketch that has nothing to do with the project I mentioned before. I just needed to clear my head so while I lost myself in thought, I just allowed my hand to take over and this is what happened when my brain shut down. I got a flying monkey. Hahaha.

So I have been out in LA for the past month and thought that it was about time i posted up a little teaser for you all. Or should i say a couple of teasers of some projects I'm switching back and forth between. I'll let you guys try to guess what they'll be.

So I'm sitting at the airport waiting for my flight to LA from Detroit and figured I would share with you the triptych that i painted for my older cousin's house. And yes, LA studios beware!! you are about to get ravished by one very charming asian (not that charming) .. mwahahahaha .. I'll be sure to update with my adventures in LA when I can. Also, sorry about the bad photo. I only had my phone on hand to take the photo.
